The Andrea-Mennen Family Foundation has continue to be recognition in the community and making an impact. We have received several awards during the last 7 years as well as the completion of the Andrea-Mennen Welcome Center on the campus of Collin College in McKinney. The Foundation also created a scholarship endowment program worth over $1.2 million with Collin College, the largest donation to the college. The foudnation also secured a naming right to their technical school for automotive on the Allen campus.
2016 Press Release
The Andrea-Mennen Family Foundation was presented the “Great Texan Award” for 2016 from the Boys and Girls Club of Collin County for their dedication and helping to raise over $240,000. They have inspired others to give while making a major impact on the community in helping after school programs.
The Andrea-Mennen Family Foundation was honored as the first organization to set-up a “$750,000 Endowment Physician Grant Program” for the new Andrew Institute of Orthopedics and Sport Medicine associated with the Children’s Health in Plano, Texas.
The Andrea-Mennen Family Foundation was the title sponsor for the Collin Classic Bike event. Over 2,500 cyclists from all over the state of Texas came to support and raise money for City House a charity that cares for at-risk children and young adults in North Texas.

The Andrea-Mennen Family Foundation helped to raise $100,000 with it’s matching pledge. So we helped to buy a bus and provided 50+ kids with a free scholarship to the Boys and Girls Club of Collin County. I want to thank everyone that made this a reality.
In 2014 The Andrea-Mennen Family Foundation got Giant bicycle company to join forces with us at the Collin Classic to support this event. Giant donated an $11,000 Giant Propel Bike to be raffled at the event which helped to raise up to $35,000 in ticket sales. This year we had 2,400 riders which was a record breaking year. Our foundation over the years have developed a number of partnerships with key sponsors to help with events that reach their target audience and at the same time give back to the community.
The Andrea-Mennen Family Foundation partnered up with City House to create the new and improve Collin Classic bike rally where 2,200 riders came out to show their support. To date it's become the largest bike rally in North Texas. The Andrea-Mennen Family Foundation helps to support organizations who want to give back to the community by collectively raising funds through various outing such as the Ladies Queens Quest at Stonebriar Country Club. They entrust The Andrea-Mennen Family Foundation to use these funds towards needy charitable organizations in the community. Each year a different local charity is selected.
